This leaf has been individually cast using the 'lost wax' technique so the inside of the leaf beautifully captures its intricate detail and texture while the reverse is carefully hand-polished to a high shine.
It began its on a Picual olive tree on a hillside in the island paradise of Waiheke Island, New Zealand.
